Press release from the City of Marion: 12/09/2021 11:07 AM The Marion Welcome Center has opened inside the Marion Chamber and Uptown Marion Main Street Office at 1070 7th Avenue. The retail store offers fun Marion merchandise great for gift giving or sharing your Marion pride. The selection includes greeting cards, postcards, kitchen items, 2022 calendars, apparel, Christmas items and more! Uptown Dollars, good at over 30 businesses in Uptown Marion, are also available for purchase in $5, $10 and $20 increments. Store hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Check marioncc.org for additional holiday hours. The Welcome Center is part of a tourism initiative by the Marion Chamber and made possible by a grant from the Linn County Economic and Community Development fund and Marion's Hotel/Motel Grant program.  This press release was produced by the City of Marion.
