SAN RAMON, CA — Santa Claus will ditch his sleigh for a fire truck escort through San Ramon this weekend. The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District announced this week Santa's route for his visit to the valley, which kicks off Saturday with a tour through San Ramon. Santa Claus will be back Dec. 18 to tour Danville. His San Ramon tour will begin 4:30 p.m. at Athens Down Park. Firefighters said they will provide updates on Instagram live.
