Venture General Contracting is hiring for a Construction Laborer to join our team! $1,000 sign on bonus! In this position you'll perform the following duties: Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Help equipment operator, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. Load or unload construction materials. Perform site clean-up. Monitor general condition items such as tools, cleaning supplies, safety masks, etc. Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. Assist the Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent for documentation and the timely completion of the project punch list. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. One year of experience working in the construction industry preferred. Knowledge of jobsite safety procedures. Knowledge of commercial and multi-family construction techniques, tools and equipment. Basic knowledge of computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
