JOLIET, IL — Anthony Harames, the 31-year-old Joliet resident who barricaded himself inside a house in the College Park subdivision for six hours Wednesday, is being charged with multiple counts of first-degree murder in the death of his missing Joliet uncle, Joliet Patch has learned. Sources told Joliet Patch the warrant for Harames charging him with three counts of first-degree murder, one count of concealment of a homicide and one count of being a felon in possession of a weapon was obtained Friday afternoon. "I know he confessed to doing it," a source told Patch. "He confessed and led (Joliet Police) to the body." Bail for Harames was set at $5 million. Harames was involved in Wednesday night's six-hour standoff in the 900 block of Natoma Court at the house belonging to his missing uncle Timothy Bokholdt. John Ferak/Patch Harames did not live at the Natoma Court home, sources said. Court records and jail logs show an address for Harames in the 500 block of Bennett Avenue on Joliet's east side. On Thursday, Harames led Joliet police to the body of his missing uncle, sources told Patch. Bokholdt's body had been dumped on the property of the sprawling Woodlawn Cemetery along Joliet's West Jefferson Street several days ago, the source told Patch. Police believe the homicide happened around Nov. 17. The uncle died from a stabbing inside the house in the 900 block of Natoma Court, sources told Joliet Patch.
