Press release from City of Fremont: December 10, 2021 The City of Fremont Recreation Services Division is pleased to offer the Seagate STEM Winter Camp Scholarship to qualifying Fremont families for school break camps. The Seagate Winter Camp STEM Scholarship will provide opportunity for students to participate in STEM camp offerings during school breaks in winter for a total of $10,000 in scholarship funding. Through Seagate's generous donation, youth will have an opportunity to participate and learn about science, technology, engineering, and math through Recreation's creative camp programs. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $199 to those registering for a STEM-based camp and meeting the scholarship requirements. The scholarship amount will allow a full scholarship for the 3-day camps and partial scholarship for the week-long winter as well as for the higher fee contracted programs such as Mad Science and PlayWell.  Scholarships are made possible by the Recreation Services Division, corporate, and individual donations.
