Here are the top stories today in Raleigh: After a whirlwind of court activity on Monday surrounding candidate filing for the 2022 primary elections, the North Carolina Supreme Court has suspended candidate filing again. The court granted an injunction that will suspend filing until May 17. (WRAL)In a unanimous vote, the Raleigh city council has approved the use of tiny homes in city limits. In 90 days, Raleigh will allow homes, no larger than 600 square feet to help address the housing crisis. (abc11)NCDOT has proposed a $747.7 million project to overhaul Capital Boulevard in Raleigh. The plan would turn the road into a controlled-access highway between I-540 and Purnell/Harris Roads in Wake Forest.
