Here are the top stories today in Savannah: The Savannah Police Department is asking the public for help identifying an armed robbery suspect caught on camera. The suspect is accused of robbing the Mini Mart at 5208 Waters Ave on Dec. 5. Police responded to an armed robbery call around 7:00 p.m. that night. Savannah Police released a security camera image of the suspect in hopes someone can recognize him.(Press Release Desk )Savannah's Beach High School was on lockdown on Thursday after a disturbance at the school. According to authorities, the disturbance broke out between adults who were at the school for a meeting. The adults left the school and are currently being sought by the police. (WJCL News) Savannah Police is urging gun owners to store their firearms safely after 169 guns have been stolen from vehicles this year and 130 of those were taken from unlocked vehicles.
