DOUGLASVILLE, GA — If you haven't been vaccinated against COVID-19 yet but are interested in doing so, you could earn $100 for it this weekend in Douglas County. Douglas County District 1 Commissioner Henry Mitchell III is hosting a vaccination incentive event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home, located at 8312 Dallas Highway in Douglasville. Each person who gets vaccinated will earn $100. Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccines for those age 12 and older, as well as for those age 5 to 11, will be available. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines for those age 18 and older are also available. Appointments aren't required, but are recommended.
