Press release from the City of Mobile Police Department: Dec 9, 2021 On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at approximately 1:07 p.m., police officers responded to the 1300 block of Pecan Street in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival, police officers discovered Thaddeus Williams, 38, suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced deceased on the scene. This is an active homicide investigation.
