Friendly cat needs indoor shelter

This super sweet and friendly cat came to my apt days ago and hasn’t left. It was briefly in my apartment during the rain yesterday, and it was extremely comfortable being indoors. It doesn’t have a microchip, I’ve posted on Nextdoor, PawBoost, and spoken to neighbors but no one has claimed it. Unfortunately, due to my cat allergies, I can’t have it inside my apartment and local shelters/humane society aren’t taking cats right now. It cried half the night last night to come inside and I felt terrible since it was so cold. If you’re able to take it in at least while it continues to be so cold, please let me know. I’m willing to drive to nearby cities to meet.
