Animal Wonders (www.animalwonders.net) offers conservation, ecology, and animal educational programs that will enhance your students' appreciation and understanding of the natural world around them. Our programs and booth activities are fun, educational, interactive, age-appropriate, and customized for children and adults. We introduce children to the world of animals and conservation. Our curriculum is based on the Project WILD series and matches national science standards. We also offer programs that are designed to help with animal husbandry as well as enrichment programs for senior centers. The goal of Animal Wonders is to have our students leave a program feeling as strongly and appreciative of conservation and wildlife as our educators do. We create age-appropriate programs for workshops at schools, libraries, pre-schools, churches, day-cares, after-school activities, youth groups, community center camps & workshops, corporate functions, or other special event. Students will learn about animal classification, basic anatomy, diets, animal behavior, ecosystems, terminology, endangered species, and habitat improvement. Current in-class workshops include: The Diversity of Life, The Complex World of Simple Animals (all about invertebrates), The Spiny Side of Life (Vertebrates), Creepy & Crawly (the "creepy", but beneficial animals), Wild Wetlands, Herpetology, and Feathered Friends. If there is a current focus of study, we can customize a program for the class. All of our animals are safe when handled by our educators, most of which have been employed &mpa; trained by AZA accredited institutions. The species that will be presented will be customized to the program selected. We have a variety of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates that will enhance the program. Animal Wonders DOES NOT condone private ownership nor would expose any children to primates, wild canids, and wild felids. WE ARE NOT THE COMPANY THAT TAKES ORDERS FOR OR SELLS BABY EXOTIC ANIMALS!!! Our animals are for educational purposes; they are not circus acts or performers.
