Description
We're a guitar/synth player and drummer forming a small group to jam and write some original songs and would like to add someone on bass to help with keeping the rhythm and who would want to contribute ideas to the writing. If you dig weird pedals/effects and experimentation feel free to get in touch! We're just starting out so we'd want to jam first and see what comes of this before writing and rehearsing. I think a lot of the genres we are influenced by are post-punk, shoegaze, post rock, free/out jazz, noise rock, ambient, and some indie rock and sludge/doom metal.
Goals would be to play locally, maybe do some DIY studio recording. We have space with amps that can be borrowed but ideally please have your own gear too. Looking for someone who wants to show up, is reasonable/agreeable, and is reasonably socially conscious. We expect people to be vaccinated and responsible during this pandemic as well.
