Mile Point Event Productions - Job Description Job Title: Production Manager Direct Report: Owner / Director Job Brief The Production Manager is a part-time position, with options to go full time, who will primarily be working with the owner / director on the production preparation and planning for the roster of events. This position is both remote and in-person working in an office warehouse environment and in the field. Part-time to start, can move to full time possibly by May. Primary Job Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate production elements for each event Prepare documentation for various staff, vendors, volunteers, etc. On-site management at determined events Primary Job Duties: Coordinate daily and weekly tasks and deliverables Attend various meetings as requested or needed Prepare meeting agendas and notes Update, prepare and maintain production documentation Fulfill rental order inquiries and quotes Prepare staff documentation Volunteer recruitment and coordination General customer service via email Key Skills & Experience: Some event experience Clear communications through multiple digital platforms Some management experience Familiarity with spreadsheets (gSheets primarily) as core of organizational use Excellent time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Google Workspace and Google Sheets Familiarity with project management / communication systems (Slack, Trello, ClickUp, etc) Prior experience with small companies Required: Drivers license and vehicle Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs Mobile phone with data plan COVID 19 Vaccination General Commitments: Estimated Daily: 2-4 hours Estimated Weekly: 12 - 20 hours Onsite Event Work: Major Event Dates: March 10-14, March 17-21, April 20 - May 5, May 26-29, July 6-12, July 27-Aug 1 Other known event dates: June 19, September 25 Compensation: Based on experience and availability.
