Mercury Metal is looking for a Basic Manual Machinist. We are growing and are seeking general machine shop individual to join our team. Skill Requirements: • Read and interpret engineering prints • Familiar with various machines such as Lathe, Manual Mills, Drill Press and other machining equipment • Good problem solving and math skills • Ability to work well individually and with others • Able to achieve close tolerances in working with precision tools and instruments • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced multi-use work environment. Excellent time management skills • Forklift certified (we can train in-house) • Ability to take and implement immediate direction/instructions from others with competence and enthusiasm. • Ability to maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude • Basic computer skills.
