Camp Run-A-Mutt™ Point Loma features over 11,900 square feet of indoor and outdoor play area for dogs to romp and exercise to their heart's content! Parents can watch their campers online as the dogs run and play in the spacious grassy area, cool off in the custom waterfall/splash pond, or under the cooling misters on a hot day. We also offer dog wash, grooming, boutique, and obedience training. It's not just the amenities that make us unique. Camp Run-A-Mutt™ is also 100% cage-free for both daycare and overnight boarding. Dogs receive exceptional care by our well-trained, and attentive staff. Overnight Campers enjoy the extra comfort of a caring human in the same room while they snooze at night. Our goal is to ensure the safety of the dogs in our care while minimizing the stress and anxiety some dogs experience when away from home and their owners. What we're looking for: People who are dog passionate and hard working. While playing and cuddling with the dogs is part of the job, there is also a lot of hard work that goes into making this environment safe and fun. We are currently looking for a candidate with ample customer service experience, as well as experience with animals. Open Position: Front Desk Runner Minimum requirements: • Experience working with dogs • Ability to positively interact with all sizes and breeds of dogs (Camp Run-A-Mutt does NOT breed discriminate) • Ability to stand, walk, bend and crouch for extended periods of time • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Reliable means of transportation • Reliable means of communication, such as a cell phone • 18 years of age or older • Open availability - must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays Expectations: • Ability to multi-task with customers, and staff members • Must be detail oriented • Employees agree to communicate with coworkers as a team member • Maintain cleaning duties such as laundry, mopping, washing dog bowls, and sanitizing all dog-play areas • Maintain a clean lobby by dusting, mopping, and vacuuming as needed • Treat all dogs equally and like your own • Communicate effectively with yard staff, managers, and customers • Assist in dog feedings for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner as needed If you think you might be a match, please submit your resume and references along with a sentence or two of why you would like to work for us.
