POSITION SUMMARY Support the activities of Franchisees’ employees engaged in the day-to-day installation of insulation, into residential homes to spec, on time and budget. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Support the activities of Franchisees’ employees engaged in the day-to-day installation projects. Provide employee performance feedback to Franchisee;(including areas for improvement and/or disciplinary action); with final disposition of issue(s) left up to Franchisee. • Support and Perform on-site manufacturing of USA Premium Foam. Analyze installation process data to improve installation efficiency process Evaluate location install cost and resource allocation Assist with technical support for manufacturing USA Premium Foam, installation of Attic insulation, SPF and other insulation related installs/products Review process documentation for Quality Assurance and manufacturing consistent and quality USA Premium Foam Schedule QA inspections for locations when needed Confer with Franchisees or subordinates to resolve production/manufacturing issues Travel overnight, to USA Insulation locations, as required. Conduct initial and ongoing training of Owners and Installation Technicians. Field phone calls from locations early in AM and, occasionally, late into the PM for troubleshooting and support. USA IFC Support: Responsible for all training programs including OJT, Classroom Training and Shop training. Analyze existing training processes/procedures and make necessary improvement. Train and enforce safety regulations in field and any applicable Safety Programs being introduced by USA IFC. Analyze existing processes/procedures and make necessary improvement. FDI Support: Support in the assembly of Foaming Rigs and Equipment. Support in maintaining the foam manufacturing parts and build inventory. When assigned, maintain relationships with FDI’s equipment and parts suppliers. Interact with personnel from corporations and Franchise locations, in professional business like manner to build relationship in support of company growth. Other duties as assigned. These essential duties will support ADA guidelines for special accommodations. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Over 2 years, up to and including 4 years of job-related experience including construction related work Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents Customer Service - Providing all Franchise Owners and their staff with excellent service along with educating the Franchisees on service features and installation Management of Personnel Resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job Instructing - Teaching others how to effectively lead, manage and install Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of self, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action Communication - Talking to Franchise Owners and their Install Techs information effectively Training – ability to create MS PowerPoint Slides and deliver training in classroom, shop and field (on the job) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Physical exam (275 lbs. weight limit in working clothes & Safety Gear) Able to lift and move up to 80 lbs. Work under variable conditions per assignment, including work in extreme cold and extreme heat Stand; touch; reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Operate computer and keyboard; ability to train others; communicate using speech, hearing and vision skills.
