Reports to: Yard Manager Company strives to provide an exceptional customer experience to residential and commercial contractors. Current product offerings include: custom millwork, lumber, windows, doors, and general hardware. Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transport of materials to and from specified locations. Drivers work daily shifts and are home every night. Overtime opportunities exist on occasion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate vehicles and equipment according to company safety policies and procedures • Ensure timely delivery of all orders • Load and unload vehicles when necessary • Use proper material handling techniques to reduce damage to goods • Operate forklift and other equipment, to load vehicles, in a safe and sensible manner • Ensure equipment and materials are securely stored • Maintain daily record of deliveries – using an automated tablet tool • Communicate well with Yard Operations Manager and customers • While not driving, assist in various capacities, including yard and warehouses as needed and/or directed • Maintain a working knowledge of product offerings and inventory • Adhere to all safety and fire regulations • Keep truck(s) clean and maintain clean orderly work environment Requirements: • Ability to lift 100 lbs • Experience in operating a truck-mounted forklift • Familiarity with San Antonio and/or surrounding areas • Ability to read, write, and maintain a tablet-based Driver Log • CDL (minimum Class B) • Clean motor vehicle record • Commitment to our core values: INTEGRITY, TEAM, SUCCESS, DYNAMI Work Site: IH10 and Culebra Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-Finish Blue Ribbon Staffing 2411 N.E.
