Hiring Experienced QC Inspector
Aluminum Extrusions and fabrication shop that manufactures simple to complex extrusions and provides CNC machined parts to its customers in the aerospace, defence, commercial and medical industries.
Job Summary: The QC inspector will maintain our client's quality standards by inspecting in-process, and incoming finished products, and recording inspections results.
Responsibilities:
• Approve incoming materials to specified requirements.
• Approve in-process products to specified requirements.
• Approve final inspection products to specified requirements. Provides feedback to other departments on inspection results. Documents inspection results using the internal database.
• Follow guidelines for using and maintaining measurement tools.
• Provide feedback to the QA Manager on inspection issues.
• Provide feedback to other departments on non-conformities issues.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience programming and using MicroVu CMM machines and Keyence measurement systems. Intermediate GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading Must have experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, pin gages. Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 3 years minimum quality control inspection experience
• Must be able to navigate PC Needs to have a good eye for details Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
• 2-3 years Microsoft Office experience
• Experience with First Article Inspections / First Piece Inspections Able to complete reports Able to lift 25 lbs for part inspections
• Must be able to pass Pre-employment drug screen and background check

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret drawings
• Ability to write clearly and informative.
• Ability to communicate and provide feedback to other department employees. Ability to work as a team.
