Description
We currently have an immediate opportunity for Packagers with a busy electronics distributor in Brea, CA. The Packager will be responsible for the following.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Prepare product manual sets, posters and cables for packing
• Open product boxes and place product content carefully on working table
• Ensure to attach sticker on the specific spot of the product in a correct order.
• Collect products, place on a tray and carry to the cart in packing area.
• Place products in clamshell or foam with manual set, poster and cables; put everything into color box, seal with sticker.
• Carry the products with color box to boxing area
• Use tape gun to label shipping box, shrink-wrap the product and finally move finished product to warehouse.
• Clean up packing area by end of shift including collecting trash boxes.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• General warehouse experience
• Knowledge of how to effectively pack boxes is a plus
• Prior experience with pallet jacks or other related warehouse or production equipment is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
• Keen attention to detail
• Self-starter
• Capable of keeping up in fast paced environment
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
