Job Description: *Gardener/landscaper *English/ Spanish or bilingual * A valid California driver's license. * Responsible person *Some experience in landscaping maintenance/gardening/ mowing lawns is great, but not necessary *Full time *Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm *8 hours a day (usually we finish early) *Paid rain days *paid Holidays *Starting salary $130 with opportunity to advance *Company shirts Duties: -Sprinkler adjustments and installs -Mowing, string trimming, hedge trimming, blowing, pulling weeds, digging -Plant and maintain ornamental trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns -Complete various tasks required to maintain gardens (mowing, trimming, cutting, blowing, watering, litter and trash removal) -Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe manner -Safely and effectively operate power equipment -Strive to produce the best possible results during all work performed -Perform other duties as assigned -Minor pest management -Rakes and maintains gravel paved areas -Performs any other tasks as directed Full Time work no down time. Physical Demands: -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. -Ability to use hand tools -Ability to stand, crawl, walk and stoop; push and pull objects up to 50 lbs. -Ability to work outdoors, in wet weather and in fluctuating and extreme temperatures. -Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions. -Ability to use hand trucks, dollies, wheelbarrows, carts, etc.
