We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Associate with a busy plastics manufacturer in Fullerton, CA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Receiving—Unload incoming shipments, compare documents for accuracy, and notify the appropriate personnel of any discrepancies or damage. Identify and store material accordingly. • Order Fulfillment— Using appropriate paperwork, locate, pull and stage material for shipment. • Shipping—Package materials, follow shipping method requested, and submit paperwork upon completion. • Will Call—Ability to assist all Will Call and Walk-in customers. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment; notify management of any issues or concerns. • Operate saw to cut materials to specified dimensions Material Knowledge: Demonstrate an ability to learn and recognize differences between products. Productivity/Efficiency: • Be able to complete daily order processing as assigned. Sales/Customer/Management Support: Maintain a strong customer focus. • Respond to rush orders, order inquiries, and problem resolution. • Reasonable responses to inquiries, such as email, voicemails, and requests, etc. Safety/Facility Maintenance: • Ensure warehouse and trucks are maintained to achieve production requirements and provide a safe and clean work environment while keeping the truck downtime to a minimum Quality/Inventory: Monitor product & process quality through RMAs, scrap, and rejects. Take action to contain, correct, and solve quality concerns at the root level. • Provide support for Inventory Cycle Counting and discrepancy resolution. Monitor shipping methods to assure the material is well packaged for transport.
