Join Laura, Jamie & Anna for a Gathering to celebrate the Winter Solstice Full Moon in Gemini with Tea Meditation, Sound Bath & Group Reiki As Winter Solstice approaches, the weather grows colder and draws us near to our hearth-fires. Gathering at this time of year fosters the fire in our hearts and kindles the embers of community. Come be held and supported as we enter the longest night which gifts us with time to enter the darkness. We hold our breaths with nature, where life is suspended, waiting in extremis. The stillness behind action gathers as we empty and trust in our renewal. The winter solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. Plant Allies, Sound and Reiki, are beautiful medicines during this time of shadow. They remind us that light can shine through the darkness as we honor the cycles of nature as well as within ourselves. Receiving healing during this time of greater darkness can create more ease and compassion for ourselves and others. It can assist in one’s integrations and transformations, as we are called to go inward. What to Expect: This Winter Solstice Full Moon gathering will begin with a tea meditation with a special full moon blend made by local herbalist Laura Mayer of Backyard Harvest followed by a relaxing sound meditation journey through the use of crystal bowls and vocal toning by Jamie Coppa and group Reiki by Anna Major to assist in moving stagnant energy to create more harmony and ease in the body, mind, emotions and spirit. As the tea meditation grounds and connects us within, the crystal bowls entrain the brain to enter a deeply meditative state called theta and the reiki moves stagnant energy to create more harmony and ease in the body. We invite you to join us for this nourishing evening! Please bring a yoga mat or something to lie on, a journal and an open heart. There will be blankets and bolsters to add to your comfort. Please know that all ticket sales are final with respect for Jamie, Laura and Anna's time and energy put into making these offerings possible.
