Description

The Journalist is responsible for writing and editing game stories and feature news articles for distribution on Westerner social media, and to local print and broadcast media. The Journalist will attend every home game and travel with the team to every away game. This will include overnight trips at team expense. The Journalist may meet with, interview and write about former Westerners, Westerner volunteers and interns, and Westerner events in the community if they believe there is a story our fans would find interesting. The ideal candidate will have journalism experience, especially writing under a tight deadline, and an in depth understanding of baseball.
