With Mother Mary’s immaculate conception and birth of Jesus as our metaphor, let us celebrate Mother Mary, the Winter Solstice, Christmas Mastery of Light Winter Solstice Ceremony; Celebrating Gaia, Mother Mary & Christ Light Doors open: 4 pm Ceremony start: 4:30 to 6 PM. light appetizers and beverages: 6 to 6:30pm With Mother Mary’s immaculate conception and birth of Jesus as our metaphor, let us join in celebration of Mother Mary, the Winter Solstice, and Christmas, and of our inner Christ Light. We are each Masters of Light, as Mother Mary, Jesus, and other teachers were in the ancient days, and are today. Upon the energies of the full moon (12/18), the Winter Solstice (12/22), and Christmas (12/25) let us gather to engage in meditation, prayer, movement, breathwork, song and chant, and ceremony. Blending inter-faith, earth-centered solstice, and Christian metaphors we will invoke the Spiritual Light and Christ Light within each of us. We will engage and activate our inner light. We each contain the seeds of miracles, the light within. Let us plant and harvest them at this time of the Return of the Light. (Optional) The event will be held outdoors in a courtyard with three sides open under the stars (no roof). There is a regular breeze through the courtyard. Dress warmly as the early evening will be cold. Bring a light blanket if you feel the need. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoor venue will be used at the same location. The indoor venue is well ventilated and will be fitted with HEPA air filters for Covid safety. As this event may be held indoors due to inclement weather, we are requiring proof of vaccination, or proof of a negative Covid test (bring your test strips, or paperwork). Thank you for your understanding and keeping our community healthy and wise. This is a small venue with limited seated, purchase your tickets now! The candles will have plastic covers for protection. Please be mindful of the lit flame. Parking: please allow 15 minutes for parking once you arrive in Fairfax as available spaces can be unpredictable. Insurance requirements to attend event: The Venue, Mettacine Sanctuary, is a membership organization similar to Harbin Hotsprings.
