On the longest night of the year, join us at Westwood Church for a contemplative experience that offers an evening prayer liturgy brought to life with a healing sound bath. Led by Ruth Sie and Pastor Molly Vetter, this experience brings gifts of a meditative sound bath into the sacred beauty of our sanctuary. Please wear comfortable clothes; you are welcome to sit or lie in our pews or bring a mat to lie on the floor.
Ruth Sie is an Acupuncturist and Classical Chinese Medicine practitioner trained in sound therapy, tai chi, and health coaching. In her practice, she combines acupuncture with sound, using the powerfully healing vibrations of the voice, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, flutes, and various chimes, strings, and percussion to create an immersive healing experience that opens, clears, and balances the body, nervous system, and mind. Outside of her practice, she is an East-West acupuncturist fellow at the UCLA Center for East West Medicine where she helps develop integrative medicine training programs.
