Comedy Night! Clean Comedy Night February 19th | 8pm | $12 Advance |$15 Door Join us for a family-friendly night of good clean fun! Chris Young is able to take real-life experiences and turn them into laughs that maintain a clean but funny appearance. Chris’s luck (or lacks thereof) has led him to look at the world through a different set of glasses. Having once been called a pessimist by a fellow classmate "he replied simply, that he is not a pessimist but an optimist, as he believes things could not get any worse!” He is a frequent performer at comedy clubs, colleges, and casino’s as well as corporate shows around the country. He has appeared at the Gilda's Laughfest in Grand Rapids, Mi the Laughing Skull Festival, and the Canton Comedy Festival. He was the winner of the TV20 Detroit "That's Funny" Comedy Contest on My Network, as well as a finalist in Dave Coulier's "Clean Guys of Comedy/Unbleepable Contest." Chris is also a favorite on radio stations all across the country. He has shared the stage with some of his favorite comics, including Bob and Tom's Mike Armstrong, Larry Reeb, Heywood Banks, and Dave Coulier. He credits his family and God for giving him his quick wit and ability to laugh. Chris ends each show with a quote that sums up the way he views the world. “ If you can’t get ahead in life, at least get a little behind”. Tim Steele is a master storyteller and his unique perspective on life including parenting and marriage has made him a Midwest favorite in the comedy scene. Julie Lyons' lifelong love of comedy didn’t come to fruition until she started the grandmother phase of life. It was a now or never moment to get on stage and talk about the humorous times that got her through many rough spots and feels she has stories that many can relate to. She’s been described as “Donna Reed on acid”.
