Are you an experienced swimming pool technician who would prefer a family-owned company? Are you tired of corporate structure? Do you work better managing your own workloads? Then, WE WANT YOU! Our small and rapidly growing pool company is seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician. This position is full-time, year-round, paid weekly. You will be providing pool service and maintenance to customer accounts in addition to filter cleans weekly. ***Salary is dependent upon experience starting between $17 and $21 per hour. Responsibilities include: • Manage a pool route each week with regular pool maintenance which includes, cleaning skimmer and pump strainer baskets, testing and maintaining water quality, adjusting pool chemicals as needed, backwashing filters, brushing and vacuuming pools, cleaning tiles, and notice all issues to discuss with owner. Some other duties my be required as needed. • Filter cleans are an important part of maintaining swimming pools. This position will handle a high volume of filter cleaning for our customers. Successful Candidate will: • Be dependable, reliable, have an eye for details and a sincere sense of customer service including the ability to discern when to escalate issues to management • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving record will need to be acceptable to our insurance company • Pass a criminal background check • Be able to pass a drug test and be subject to random drug testing • Ability to comfortably lift and carry 50 pounds, sometimes multiple times in a day, and, at times, lift and carry 100 pounds • Ability to work outdoors and in all weather conditions, including, very hot and sunny conditions, or very cold and windy Company provides you with: equipment, vehicle, credit card for expenses (gas & chemicals), and t-shirts for business use only. Performance-based raises earned periodically with continued employment and outstanding customer service.
