3 HS Athletes Announce Picks For College

LONG BEACH, NY — A handful of student/athletes from Long Beach High School are taking the next step toward their future. Chris Buonocore will join the swim team at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Dylan McCabe will play lacrosse at Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York. Cate Miller is set to play for the lacrosse team at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. The trio recently signed national letters of intent to further, as swimming and lacrosse have helped them earn athletic scholarships. "I want to congratulate Cate, Chris and Dylan on earning an athletic scholarship," Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Arnold Epstein said in a statement. "All of the members of the athletic department are extremely proud of these student-athletes and their hard work."
