Description
MILFORD, MA — A local scouting fundraiser may be able to help you with a post-holiday headache.
Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts in Milford will collect Christmas trees after the holiday this year for a donation. On Jan. 2, Milford residents can place trees at the curb, and local scouts will collect and recycle them.
If you want to participate in the collection, place trees at the curb by 8 a.m. on Jan. 2. Scouts will come to your door to collect an $8 per-tree donation, either cash or check (make checks out to "The Boy Scouts of America"). All donations will go directly to the scouting unit that collects your tree, according to organizer Greg Schorn.
