An event space and licensed on-premise lounge in Lincoln Park is seeking a bartender for private events. We have hosted several private events ranging from 25-90 guests and need occasional help to cover shifts.
The next two events are on the evenings of 12/16 (25 guests) and 12/18 (40 guests). You must be:
- BASSET certified
- fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (mask must be worn during shift)
- experienced behind a fully-stocked bar.
- able to operate independently and serve a variety of common drinks efficiently and courteously.
- able to communicate well with a barback and let them know when you are short on ingredients or glassware.
- punctual and able to arrive on time for prep before guests arrive.
- able to dress in work-appropriate attire suitable for a corporate event.
Hourly pay is $18/hour plus prepaid gratuities of 18%, along with pooled cash tips. Weeknight events are typically 3 hours and pay a minimum of $150, and weekend events are typically 5 hours and pay a minimum of $250.
