The Housekeeper is responsible for performing routine cleaning of guest rooms and interior of hotel as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. Duties include responding to guest inquiries and requests, cleans hotel rooms, stocks and inventories supplies and cleaning solutions, collects garbage and recyclables and linens from guest rooms. Advises housekeeping and hotel management when rooms are ready for occupancy, examines rooms, halls and lobbies to determine if repairs are needed and cleans guest exercise and pool area clean and tidy. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. Housekeeper starts at $14.98/hr and increases to $15.50/hr at successful completion of 90 day orientation period. Education: High School Diploma GED equivalent required Experience & Requirements: One year hotel guestroom cleaning experience is required Knowledge of using cleaning solutions and floor machines and commercial laundry equipment Full COVID-19 vaccination required Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours The ability to lift up to 25 pounds Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment Additional Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Upon offer must obtain Class IIIB Gaming License ($155 - $200) Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays Must be able to obtain a Class IIIB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
