Have you ever felt that you are taken less seriously in the music scene due to your demographic? Whether your gender, orientation, ethnicity, disability, or religion? Me too!! Recently I have become more and more frustrated with the oversaturation of straight white males in the music scene. So, heres an opportunity for everybody not in that demographic. I (she/her) moved to the area this fall and am in the process of starting a band. I sing, write, and play guitar. I want to start a serious project with the intent of recording and touring. I vary in style but tend to lean towards blues/indie rock/folk. I want something DIFFERENT. I want passionate and unique people to collaborate with. Lets support each others differences and celebrate our similarities. Let's make art. Let's break the glass ceiling. Let's smash the patriarchy one badass rock ballad at a time.
