Join Our Team! The new Sands Harbor Resort and Marina is a waterfront property in Pompano Beach. This 5 acre property offers room accommodations as well as an array of event possibilities between 3 full service restaurants. Groundkeeper/Landscaper are responsible for maintaining the landscape of the Resort. Essential duties include mowing lawns, removing weeds, trimming shrubs, planting/watering new greenery and removing unwanted trees. Empty trash containers into dumpsters. Job Responsibilities: • Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program • Check work orders and night report for any assignment to be completed • Perform Preventive Maintenance work orders. For example: • Perform light excavation, using shovels, picks and other tools to dig trenches and level ground. • Pick up and remove trash and debris from the property and dispose of it appropriately on a daily basis. • Maintain landscape and garden areas by planting grass, trimming trees and bushes, and fertilizing flowers and other plants. • Contact the appropriate technicians and specialists for maintenance jobs that the groundskeeper cannot do alone. Job Requirements: • Prior maintenance experience required • Must be able to work a varying scheduled to include mornings, evenings, weekend and holidays • A high school diploma or equivalent technical or vocational schooling is preferred. • Ability to work independently • Able to communicate effectively with staff and visitors to the facility
