Description
Hello! This is an entry/mid-level management opportunity with serious growth potential for the right person. If you're up for a good challenge, willing to work hard, and ready to impress...then please keep reading. :) WHO WE ARE: Epicurean Properties is a young, fast-growing hospitality company based in Columbus, OH. We offer fully-furnished luxury apartments for month-to-month rental. We go above and beyond to impress our guests with obsessive cleanliness, pro interior design, and lots of great perks (like Frette linens - the brand preferred by Ritz Carlton and many other 5 star hotels). Our goal is to provide comfort, convenience, and peace of mind when our guests need it most. ABOUT THIS JOB: Whenever a guest checks out of one of our furnished apartments, we have about 24 hours to prepare it for the next guest. During this time, we deep-clean the apartment from top to bottom, launder linens and towels, re-make beds, and stage all the special touches (fresh flowers, coffee and tea, welcome bottle of wine, Fiji waters and Godiva chocolates in the bedrooms, etc.). As Property Manager, your job will be to oversee our entire housekeeping process and make sure our apartments are sparkling clean and lovingly-prepared for every guest's arrival. You'll be focused on scheduling, supporting, hiring, and training our housekeepers…then inspecting their work and tweaking it to make sure everything looks great for our next guest's arrival. You'll get plenty of training so that you feel comfortable and confident in this role, but here are some of the specific tasks you’ll be responsible for: ■ Keeping track of our reservations calendar so that you'll know exactly when each guest is arriving and departing ■ Scheduling housekeepers to deep clean and re-stage our apartments whenever a guest checks out ■ Posting job ads to find new housekeepers, then interviewing applicants and hiring them as needed ■ Training housekeepers on our cleaning, laundry, and staging process and providing feedback on their work ■ Leading housekeepers and making sure they feel supported and taken care of with all the tools, training, and supplies they need to do their jobs ■ Acting as "backup Housekeeper" and cleaning apartments yourself in the event that nobody else is available to get the job done (the better you become at your job, the less often this will happen) ■ Inspecting apartments before the guest arrives and tweaking anything that may have been missed ■ Communicating any maintenance needs to us so we can resolve them and keep our apartments stay looking like new and functioning properly ■ Contributing ideas to help us improve our processes (better checklists, ways to rate and reward housekeepers, etc.) ■ Tracking supply inventory so we know when to re-order linens, soaps, etc. ■ Organizing our storage and supply areas ■ Shopping for supplies to make sure we stay well stocked with essential items (linens, towels, kitchenware, cleaning products, etc.) ■ Helping with the launch of new apartments (assembling furniture, stocking supply closets, setting up TV's, etc.). Put simply, you'll be trusted to make sure every guest checks into a sparkling clean and beautifully-prepared apartment. We will empower you with the budget and resources, but ultimately, making it happen will be your responsibility.
