Fireplace Service Tech (Mankato)
Fulltime fireplace Service Technician/ Installer.
The Service Tech will:
1. Clean and Inspect fireplace components when needed to resolve operating problems. Ensures that each unit is operating per manufacturer's specifications.
2. Provides preventive maintenance and service for fireplace accessories and other related services in existing occupied residential homes and new construction.
3. Initiates gas fireplace start-ups, and provide operational homeowner instructions ensuring that all the options on the order are installed
4. Maintains professional image with all customers and builders through commitment to customer satisfaction.
5. Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bending. Must furnish own hand/shop tools ( May lift up to 25lbs. and/or move up to 50lbs)
Scope of work may include:
Gas or LP components
Electrical switches
Service and troubleshooting of gas fireplaces
Fireplace components
Will also help install fireplaces when needed
Installation Technician:
- Install fireplaces, venting and other components to completed the job according to the plans
- Run gas to fireplace
- Communicate with onsite job supervisors and GHH sales team any roadblocks that occur during installation process
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
