Wanting to Start a Tribute Band

Hey you all 1st let me thank you for taking time to read this and wish you the best in the general sense. I have been on a hiatus for quite some time but do miss playing music with a group of people. Anyways to cut to the chase I would like to start a Red Hot Chilli/ Sublime Tribute band. We would learn the songs just like the record(which would really cut down rehearsal time) and then maybe get together and give them a shot once we are all worked up on them. I would handle all the Guitar parts and would be looking for a Bass player( a most groovy one for these songs) and I do have a buddy who drums and sings but he would probably rather do one or the other. So drummers and vocalist are more than welcome.. My vision is this music would provide a very dance friendly and positive vibe type atmosphere and possibly provide some well paying showes. I can also learn 5-15 songs a week with my current schedule so it wouldn't take long once the lineup is figured out to start hunting for shows. Anyways if you are intrigued by this or just wanna pass your idea/s my way feel free. I am a carefree dude with a positive outlook. Wonder well and have fun ttyl
