Description

Sign up for my December wet-felting class! Wet-felting is not at all like the more common craft of dry-felting or needle-felting. Wet felting is a process that involves roving wool, water, soap, and the friction and pressure of your hands to make the fibers open and catch onto each other as you roll your creations into one of a kind art pieces! There is wet felting in the Copenhagen museum that dates back 3500 years! Music was a part of felting in Scotland in ancient times, as women would sing Gaelic "waulking songs" to keep track of their rhythm while they felted newly woven wool. Come have holiday fun in the studio, leave with a beautiful creation, a belly full of holiday treats, and some new art skills! Cost: $75, includes the cost of materials. Limited to just 5 participants for social distancing. http://mandolinmosaics.com/mosaic-class.php
