Do you like to write song lyrics? I churn out a high volume of songs - too many to keep up with lyric-wise. Looking for someone who has an interest in writing lyrics to finish more songs more quickly. Bonus points if you are also a singer, but that's not required in any way for this. You would be appropriately credited, of course, and eligible for a cut of any proceeds. I will absolutely not take advantage of anything you create or otherwise rip you off. I am in this purely for the satisfaction I get from making original music. Mostly rock-oriented material, but I have a variety of tastes. Sometimes more poppy, acoustic singer/songwriter-y, jazzy, reggae, or even country-ish. Basically whatever I feel like at any given time (this is one reason I have so much material). With a few exceptions, I've generally been doing all the instruments myself lately - guitar, bass, keys, drums, other percussion, and vocals. A lot of this I do in my home studio, but I also use a proper pro recording studio sometimes (mainly for vocals, as well as mixing/mastering). The finished products sound good! I'm in Seattle but there's no reason you need to be. This is a recording project at the moment. Someday it would be nice to perform these live, but that's a question for another day. For now I mostly just like writing and recording. Also, I like to think placements in film/tv etc. could be possible at some point.
