Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
•Accepts and signs for deliveries.
•Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
•Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments.
•Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items.
•Checks shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for.
•Works with Customer Service to resolve shipment discrepancies.
•Ensures that warehouse is clean and organized.
•Reports any major or unresolved receiving delays or problems to Customer Service.
•Assists in other duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
•Pays close attention to detail.
•Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes received.
•Communicates clearly and effectively.
•Handles discrepancies or receiving problems calmly and politely.
•Manages time efficiently.
•Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills.
•Demonstrates product safety awareness and follows written shop procedures.
Work Environment
•Time will be spent in a warehouse receiving deliveries.
•Time will also be spent in an aircraft instrument detailing area cleaning and preparing units for shipment.
•Moderate physical labor such as lifting and moving items is required on a regular basis.
•Standard 40-hour workweek applies.
Pay / Benefits:
$15 - $17 an Hour
