Rapidly growing company Premier Auto & Parts is currently seeking a reliable, skilled and experienced Automotive Body Technician. JOB SUMMARY The Automotive Body Technician is responsible for Examining damaged vehicle and efficiently planning repair process, Working and communicating with others on vehicle repair status, Performing quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind, Making decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time, Removing upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders, Grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools, Directing the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed, i.e. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to use a frame machine, Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer, Welding, Lifting up vehicle parts, Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data, Must be able to pass thorough background check. BENEFITS Competitive hourly and flat rate pay based on experience. ($20-$25 per hour) Pay raises based on work performance Paid vacation 1 week after 12 months with Premier Auto and Parts.. Five holiday days paid per year after 3 months employment. EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS • 2-5 years of automotive body technician and repair experience in related industries required. • High School diploma/GED required, auto mechanic tech graduate preferred. • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. • Must be able to work the following days and hours: o Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., edit as necessary)
