If you want to learn some challenging original material, this is the project for you. We don't need a shredder. We do need someone who can handle a lot of chords changes during our melodic, vocal-driven songs, but also drop in some more textural elements and sprinkle in a lead part here and there. It's like if Randy Newman wrote songs for My Morning Jacket and then Belle & Sebastian covered them. We are in our early thirties, looking to bring someone up to speed on the tunes and then play some gigs in the spring. We don't expect you to devote your life to this project, just 2-3 hours a week max. More important than that is communication. We're all adults, just keep it real and we will be cool.
