Hello all! I have two very sweet male parakeets who need a cat free home to call their own. While my cats are used to chickens, I made a grave error in thinking they would be okay with smaller indoor birds. Therefore, my little cuties need to find a new nest. They are both very sweet with very different personalities. They enjoy playing in coconuts and playing with shred toys. They are both bonded to one another so I prefer they stay together. The piebald male, Hedwig, is more of an independent bird but loves his brother. While he will allow himself to be caught and held, he is not what I consider hand tame. The common green male, Fang, is more hand tame and will step up and enjoys some pets. He will hang out with you while you walk around and enjoys being hand fed millet. If you just take the birds they are FREE to a good forever home. If you'd like a cage to go along with them, with some water and food dishes then I'm asking a small fee of $40.
