Warehouse Technician – North Kingstown, RI Reports to: DOO The position of Warehouse Technician you will perform shipping, delivery and receiving duties; responsible for helping maintain inventories through spot checks and cycle counts. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Receives and delivers inbound packages. • Drive a flatbed truck to pick up and make deliveries. • Maintains inventory control. • Fills material requisitions and delivers to appropriate department. • Assists in purchasing materials. • Responsible for cleanliness of warehouse and shipping areas. • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines. • All other duties as assigned • Daily COVID cleaning BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION: • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Valid Driver’s License. • Required to obtain DOT Medical Card. • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. • Warehouse and shipping/receiving experience. COMPETENCIES: • Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts a plus. • Knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
