We own and self-manage more than 20 apartment communities in the Greater Saint Louis area. We are actively interviewing experienced Maintenance Technicians to jump on board with us for immediate hire, positions. Our communities’ range in size but are all staffed with a dedicated supervisor, technicians, and regional support in the area. We are paying $18.00 - $22.00 depending on experience and certifications along with on-call and quarterly bonus, a very robust benefits package plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Check us out at: www.monarchinvestment.com Here's why I think you’ll love working for Monarch: • Industry competitive compensation ($18.00 - $22.00/HR DOE) • $1,000 Sign-on bonus • Annual performance review with the opportunity for raise up to 5%, each year • Renewal Commissions shared monthly with maintenance • Quarterly Maintenance Bonus • Amazing medical at $30 per month with Blue Cross for comprehensive plan • Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance • Paid Holidays • Paid Time Off, 1st Year: 80 Hours, 2-4 Years: 120 Hours, 5+ Years: 160 Hours • 20% off rent at any of our owned communities • 401k planning and pre-tax contributions • Paid additional training/school and Tuition reimbursement program • Yearly Anniversary Gifts • $70.00 per week when on call for emergencies on top of regular pay • Tool reimbursement program and power tool battery exchange program • Winter boot reimbursement program • Discount programs at partnered companies such as Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot and more Responsibilities: • Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority • Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications • Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition needs • Maintaining property grounds • Preventative maintenance • Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas • Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • HVAC certification required from an accredited learning program preferred • EPA License preferred • Minimum of 6 months previous maintenance experience (multi-family preferred) • Some drywall experience including painting and carpentry • Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures • Have good verbal and written communication • Problem solving skills • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents • Be willing to go through basic training within 30/days A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview.
