Woodworking classes?

Hello I am looking to take a beginner's woodworking class in the KC area. I am having a surprisingly hard time finding a full class in the area - the community colleges don't offer them unless you are a VoTech student and the woodworkers guild's beginners classes are full until the summer. Many places offer beginners projects or two, but I am hoping to find a more thorough class. Even if you know of a private instructor or class I would be very appreciative! Thank you for any help
