L.L.Bean Fly Tying Series. Class meets on 2nd floor of Hunting & Fishing Store. Week 5 Soft-Hackle Pheasant Tail Wet Fly. The Soft-Hackle Pheasant Tail is another fly that is a must-have in your fly box. It represents many different species of Mayfly and can be tied in many sizes. The use of a bead as a head or tied within the body can increase this fly’s versatility. For the health and safety of all, we are encouraging event attendees to wear masks regardless of vaccination status and to use the hand sanitizing stations we have on site. Masks will be available. Please practice social distancing by keeping six feet apart.
