“Backcountry and Bourbon” – A whiskey tasting & Avalanche Awareness presentation with Friends of the CAIC, KR Ski Patrol, & Avalanche dogs “Backcountry and Bourbon” – A Whiskey Tasting and Avalanche Awareness presentation with Friends of the CAIC (Colorado Avalanche Information Center), Keystone Ski Patrol, Flight for Life, and the adorable avalanche dogs. Each ticket comes with 3 whiskey samples, a raffle ticket, and admission to the speaker series. There will be loads of gear raffled off throughout the evening, provided by Proximo Spirits and Keystone Resorts Ski Patrol. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase once inside. A portion of proceeds from all ticket sales will benefit C-RAD, (Colorado Avalanche Deployment Team.) Friends of the CAIC, Flight for Life & Keystone Ski Patrol will enlighten the audience on backcountry safety, including travel/avalanche awareness through a series of videos and talks. In between the educational talks, our whiskey expert will lead a brief presentation/tasting of the Bushmills Irish Whiskey portfolio. The showcase tonight is Bushmills 10yr, 16yr, and 21yr single malts. We will also have Bushmills original drink specials & $4 craft drafts at the Warren Station bar. Explore the delicate balance of backcountry safety along with the history, aging process, and recipes of these Irish-aged whiskeys. Come out for a night of spirited education and help us kick off Distilled at Warren Station on Saturday, January 15th.
