Coptic and Secret Belgian Binding Class Join Katelynn Castaneda for a day for book binding fun! Katelynn will walk participants through both the Coptic and the Belgian binding, which are great binds to learn for beginning book artists. The Coptic bind has been around since the 4th century and is an important building block to know for future book makers. Belgian bind is a new technique that is a modified version of coptic. You will take away two beautiful books made with your hands! WHEN: Sat., Dec 18th WHERE: The Write Place TIME: 9 am – 4:30 pm, with a 30 min lunch break PRICE: $50 (Materials are included) WHO: Anyone age 15 and up (6 students max) Scholarships are available for Low-Income Participants.
