Create Hypertufa Pots with Succulents Suffolk Master Gardener, Ed Daurio will teach you Step-by-Step how to make your own Hypertufa planter/bowl. Hypertufa is a lightweight, porous material used in many different craft projects. It is made from a mixture of peat moss, Portland cement, and either sand, vermiculite, or perlite. Hypertufa projects are limited only by your imagination. Garden containers, ornaments, and statuary are just a few of the popular project items you can fashion from hypertufa. In this class, each student will get their choice of a pre-made Hypertufa planter/bowl. And to top things off, Ed is throwing in for no additional cost succulent plants that he grew and sandy soil for potting. You can choose what succulents you like from a variety that Ed grows in his green house. Also instructions and how to care for the succulents will be given, and all supplies will be provided. *Private classes/parties available upon request. Space is limited. Parking: Please park in Simply Vintages Parking lot (Rock Gravel lot) immediately to the side of our building, at Arthurs General Store or the paved area across from Suffolk Appliance.
