Description

Dante Powell's incredibly clever comedy draws in audiences from all walks of life and allows them to connect with him. Dante Powell was the first comedian we booked back in April when it was safe to open back up. We love him so much we asked him back again! Dante is a comedian from Bernice, Louisiana. Dante currently lives and performs out of Des Moines, IA and travels the country working comedy clubs, theaters, and festivals. His debut comedy album "The Squirrels Get Fat" was produced by Grammy Award winning Stand Up! Records and is available on any platform you use to purchase albums. Dante runs the gamut from opening for major acts like Godfrey, Gary Gulman, Rory Scovel, Mike Epps, Chris Porter, and Pauly Shore to headlining club weekends (Comedy Corner Underground, Blue Room Comedy Club, Penguins Comedy Club) and one off shows. Dante brings a unique perspective founded on his life experience to story-telling and joke writing. His comedy is incredibly clever and takes on everything from the common to the mundane in a way that draws in audiences from all walks of life and allows them to connect with him. $10 at the door only. Masks required. Brad Stewart began his comedy career shortly after moving to Los Angeles from Nebraska in 1995 and winning 1st place in comedy contest. He beat out hundreds of comedians to win $500. Brad used it to register his car in California. Since that time Brad has performed at many different clubs and theaters all over the country to rave reviews. From The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City, Brad has entertained many diverse audiences with his high energy, observational style of humor.  In early 2010 Brad had the honor of becoming a favorite opening act for comedy legend Joan Rivers. Joan said Brad is "so talented and a joy to work with" Brad has also opened for The Temptations, Jon Lovitz, Keith Sweat, Rob Schneider, The O'Jays, Barry Manilow, and 80's rockers Loverboy.  In 2012 Brad was picked by TV Icon Marlo Thomas as a "Comedian to Watch" for the Huffington Post.  Brad's comedy is a mix of his observations about life and his love/hate relationship with pop culture. Music is a big love of Brad's and a lot of his comedy comes from his frustrations with the state of popular music which should be relatable to anyone with ears.
